  • For Academic Coaching, where the parents are paying for the services, the first step is to schedule a 30-Minute Complementary Consultation Call with the parent(s) to learn about their student's learning history and what they hope their student will gain from working with an Academic Coach. Following the Complementary Consultation Call with the Parent(s), we can schedule a 50-Minute Discovery Session with your student.

  • It is important for both of us to have an in depth understanding of what the goals are, why these goals are important and why now is the right time. Our goal is to create long term solutions, habits and systems that you can maintain. Without this knowledge, the work we do together may not last.

  • Yes, there is a charge. The Discovery Session is an in-depth conversation that will allow both of us to assess if working together is going to support the changes that you or your student want to implement.

  • The Academic Coaching Sessions are on Monday's and Tuesday's. This allows the students to space out their work over the rest of the week. The Productivity Coaching Sessions can be scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

  • This will depend on your student, their age and their current skill level. If your student is in high school, it will be important that they continue to keep you in the loop on a regular basis. If your student is college, it's possible that you may be able to take a large step back and we can see how that works. Either way, working with an Academic Coach often alleviates much of the friction between you and your student.

  • The systems we often focus on first are email, calendar, task & project lists and notes.

  • Organizing and Productivity are a skill. While we can all learn how to be more organized and productive, it is not something we are born knowing. Asking for help is brave and may be the first step in creating the life you want.

  • This depends on a lot of factors, including how long it takes to make decisions and how many new habits and systems you are looking to implement. After working together a few times, we can make a better determination of how long the project will take.

  • There is nothing to be embarrassed about. We are here to help. There is no judgement. Nothing makes us happier than transforming a space from cluttered to calm.

  • We won't make you get rid of anything. It's always your decision. However, we will support you in making decisions that are best for you by asking thought provoking questions.

  • There is nothing you need to do prior to our first session. In fact, we prefer that you don't clean up first. This allows us to see how the space is functioning. We ask that you have manilla file folders and black and clear garbage bags available for us to use. The black bags are for trash and the clear bags are for donations and recycling.

  • We do ask that you are on-site. You will have opportunities to take breaks during our sessions, but we will need you to make all the decisions regarding what we are keeping verse letting go of. Our goal is to create systems and organized spaces that you can maintain. For this to be possible, we need you to be a part of the process.

  • Absolutely! In fact it's probably even more important to have this in place, if you live alone.

  • We will work with parent's with children as young as 5 months old. We also work with teenagers and adults looking to improve their sleep.

  • We understand our services are an investment. Remember that the goal is to create habits, systems and spaces that you can maintain. As many clients report, getting organized is the gift that keeps giving, long after our time together ends.

  • A Half-Day Onsite Organizing Session is between 4 & 5 hours.

  • A coaching session is 50-minutes.

  • This allows the sessions to be recorded, so that you can reference them at at later date, if you choose.
